Welcome to Sing!Sing!Sing!
We are Houston’s Live Music, No-Ability-Needed, No-Commitment, popup singing group, where the audience becomes the choir.
Sing!Sing!Sing!, begun in 2014, gathers on the 2nd Thursday of each month and has recently, (7/10/25), begun meeting at a new location… Lucy Ethiopian Restaurant and Lounge in SW Houston.
Whether you sing in a choir or don’t dare utter a note outside your closet, car or shower, we invite you to come experience the fun of making great harmony with friendly “neighbors” from ALL parts of our wonderfully diverse H-town.

Singing ability is NEVER needed!
WHAT WE DO
While we refer to ourselves as a “choir”, this is a bit misleading, since we rarely perform. Rather, we use our time each night being guided by our musical team to learn and sing the night’s featured 2-3 part harmony pop song. Once it’s to our liking, we record our “masterpiece” and later post it online.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT PART TO SING?
Each of our songs in sung in 2 or 3-part harmony. It’s not uncommon for a newcomer to ask which part, i.e., High, Mid or Low, they should sing. Knowing this, our Choir Director, Judi Messina, demonstrates all parts in the night’s song before we start practicing – just listen, then choose the best fit for you. But, if listening hasn’t helped and you are still unsure, feel free to consult with Judi. She’s happy to assist.

Judi Messina, a professional voice and piano coach, is Sing!Sing!Sing!’s long time Music Director. Judi not only arranges each night’s song, but directs us while playing keyboard.
SPIRIT, Sing!Sing!Sing!’s super sensitive, award-wining mic and essential member of the team!
REQUESTS/CONCERNS
The musical team is interested in hearing your ideas and requests, so please feel free to share your song requests with the Choirmom, Barb, or one of the musical team members. Just keep in mind that every Sing!Sing!Sing! song chosen needs to meet certain criteria. If you’d like to know more, just check with Judi Messina, the choir Music Director, or the Choirmom.

ADDENDUM
For those who might be interested… Sing!Sing!Sing! gets its inspiration from two amazing choirs.
